Contact Closure Mirror Modules

Mirror Modules

This video demonstrates how a 802.15.4 Wireless Mirror Module can be used to Remotely Control Wireless Relays.  The following devices were used in this Video (in order of appearance):  ZSCAN16_MIRROR, ZR15, ZR120, ZR230, ZADR410PROXR, ZADR85PROXR.  We used the XR16OCLP to display the Status of Remote Relays.

Like a Remote Control for NCD Relay Boards

Mirror Modules will change the way you look at computer control FOREVER. If you like our products, but don't want to use a computer to control them, then consider using a Mirror Module instead of a computer! Mirror Modules have many features, but their primary function is to act as a remote control for our extensive line of relay controllers. Mirror Modules have built-in contact closure inputs. When these inputs are connected together, the Mirror Module generates control commands used to activate relays in a remote location.  Contact Closures on one side and Relay Controller on the other.  Mirror Modules are compatible with ALL NCD relay controllers.

ZSCAN Wireless Mirror Modules

If you have an application that requires remote control of relays (switches) without a computer, this device may be the answer you are looking for. 802.15.4 ZSCAN Wireless Mirror Modules act as a remote control for any of our Wireless 802.15.4 Wireless Relay Controllers. Simply connect buttons, switches, and sensors directly to the 802.15.4 Wireless Mirror Module. Any change detected on the inputs are transmitted to the remote relay controller.  For more information on 802.15.4 Wireless Mirror Modules click here.

The Mir8RSENC and the ZSCAN series Mirror Modules are capable of controlling up to 256 inputs and 256 remote relays. If you are looking for something on a smaller scale the MirC or MirX line of controllers offer up to 8 inputs and 8 relay to control. The MirX controllers have 802.115.4 wireless or Ethernet interfaces. More on ZSCAN Series>

MirC Relay Pair Controllers

MirC controllers allow contact closure inputs to control contact closure outputs in a remote location using wireless 2-way communications. The sending device is equipped with contact closure inputs, used to control relays on the remote device. Both sender and relay controller are included when you purchase a MirC pair.

The sending device is also equipped with LEDs that display the status of the remote relay. Status information is verified using 2-way wireless communications. If communication is lost between the remote relay and the sending device, the sending device will turn off the LED. Additionally, every MirC controller is equipped with a Busy/Ready LED. If the Busy LED flashes, this indicates the remote device has successfully received and accepted your contact closure status. If the Busy LED does not flash, the remote device is out of range.  More on MirC Series>

MirX Relay Pair Controllers

Every MirX controller is equipped with contact closure inputs and outputs. The inputs on one controller activate the relays on the remote device using wireless communications. The "X" in MirX refers to the crossover. Since both devices are equipped with contact closure inputs and relays, each device targets and controls the remote device.

MirX devices are only sold as a permanently married pair, pricing shown on our web site indicates pricing for the pair of controllers. Contact Closure Inputs may only be connected to switches, buttons, or sensors with Contact Closure capability. Not suitable for use in voltage detection applications.

Our MirX Relays relays are always sold in married pairs and feature SPDT & SPST and Solid State relays and are available with the same number of contact closure inputs/outputs as there are relays installed on the board.  The MirX Series Relay Controllers are ready to go to work immediately out of the box. No Computers, No Configuration, Just Simple, Reliable 802.15.4 Wireless Communications between two devices that permanently work together as a married pair.  More on MirX Series>

Control a Switch From a Distant Location

MirX-MXNET and MirC-MCNET (when available) controllers provide you with an easy way to control a switch from a distant location using the Internet or LAN communications. MXNET/MCNET controllers use a very sophisticated program to find each other no matter where they are in the entire world. They are permanently married together, and no matter how far apart they may be, they will always try to stay in communication with each other.
