Bluetooth Wireless Communication

There are two modules to choose from, a standard 200 foot range with an integrated antenna or a 300 foot range with an external antenna.  As with all wireless technologies line of sight is crucial to getting the optional range of these modules.  In other words the antenna should "see' the device you are pairing with.  The External antenna options provide the best advantage for positioning the antennas.

Apple Products

iPhone, iPad, and iPod developers, Apple iOS devices deliberately encrypt their Bluetooth protocol, so our Bluetooth interface is compatible with every computer ever made, including Android, PCs (and every version of Windows that supports Bluetooth), and Linux (and all variants thereof that support Bluetooth), but it will NEVER work with Apple iOS devices… (Yes, we get this question all the time….)
