Use the Network You Already Have

MirX Network controllers send contact-closure signals across your LAN using existing Ethernet infrastructure. Clean installs, reliable control, and no extra control wiring between locations.

Need to control relays between two locations over your network? MirX sets provide reliable contact closure relay control for switching - almost anything!

Contact Closure Over IP

MirX Network controllers let you send dry contact signals between two locations over your local area network. Each system includes two identical boards, both equipped with contact closure inputs and relay outputs.

What makes MirX unique is simple: the input on each board controls the relay on the opposite board, giving you reliable two-way control across your network.

Designed for Local Networks

Contact Closure RelayThese updated MirX LAN models are intended for communication across your internal network and do not require internet access.

Each board allows manual IP address configuration, making them ideal for installations where boards are located on different subnets or where internet access is restricted.

Contact Closure Input & Output

The onboard relays can be used to switch power to a device or as a dry contact closure output.

Use MirX Network boards anywhere you need to extend contact closure control across a building, campus, warehouse, plant, or facility network.

Connect a device's dry contact output to one board, then wire the opposite board relay to equipment at the remote location.
💡 Relay Pros ProTip:

Need control in two locations without running control wire between buildings or rooms? MirX Network uses your existing LAN to send signals both directions.

Ethernet Communication

Each board includes a Gen3 Ethernet communication module and connects directly to your router or network switch.

Boards ship in DHCP mode for initial setup. A managed network is recommended during configuration, but once setup is complete, the boards can operate on unmanaged network equipment if needed.

Choosing the Right Relay Amperage

The 2-Channel MirX boards include one dry contact input and one relay output on each Board. The key difference between the options is the amperage rating of the relay installed. Select a board that matches the amperage required for your application.
  • SPDT relays are available in 5-Amp, 10-Amp, and 20-Amp versions.
  • An SPST relay is available in a 30-Amp version.
The 5-amp relay is our smallest option and can also be used as a dry contact when no load switching is required.  For more information on selecting the correct relay amperage for your application see Choosing a Proper Amperage.
💡 Relay Pros ProTip:

If you're controlling high-current loads like motors or heaters, always choose a relay with extra amperage headroom. Running a relay at its maximum rating can shorten its lifespan.
