The Push Notifications board can use a relay on another the board as an input. The relay must be one that is not being used for any other purpose and can be wired to the Push Notification board. The board will communicate the contact closure information to your computer through a USB or Wi-Fi connection. N-Button Software on your computer will then send a text or email from the computer to your selected recipients.

USB or WiFi Connection
The
Push Notification board has 1 contact closure input and a USB or Wi-Fi interface. When the contact closure input is
closed the board will send this information through the USB cable or Wi-Fi Network to your computer. Using N-Button software you can send
a preconfigured text message or email alerting you that the contact closure has been closed.
Dry Contact Inputs
The Inputs on the Push Notification series controllers are compatible with any type of dry-contact input (no voltage) so an extra relay on any board will be the perfect input. Combine with other boards on this site for a total switching/notification package. Program or wire an extra relay on the board to switch when the relay that you want notification switches and you can get a text or email. A dedicated relay on your board is necessary to connect to the Push Notification board.How It Works
The
Push Notification is a contact-closure input detection circuit that automatically forwards data to a computer. Push Notification
boards do not directly generate Emails or SMS text messages. Optional N-Button software or custom-developed server software is required
for this task.
USB or Wi-Fi Interface Relay
The
board offered is a 1-input board with your choice of a USB or Wi-Fi interface for communicating to your computer. The USB interface
connects to the USB port of your computer and will mount as a COM port on your PC. The Wi-Fi interface adds 802.11b/g wireless
communications to the board and can be configured to your Wi-Fi network.
N-Button Software
The Push Notification Board and N-Button Lite make this a complete package to send a text message or email without programming
knowledge. N-Button is a point-and-click software that will allow you to configure the message that is sent and who will receive
it. Full support from the developer of this software means just about anyone can send a message from something as a button push
